Citing their reasoning behind bestowing the honor on the Rocky Mount Health Care facility, the expertise of the hospital’s medical staff and the impressive track record of positive results were noted.

Additionally, Nash UNC Rocky Mount Health Care was evaluated on overall patient satisfaction and the willingness of said patients to recommend Nash UNC to others. Larry Chewning, President of Nash UNC Health Care, spoke enthusiastically with the Rocky Mount Telegram newspaper on the recognition, noting that it “reflects thousands of hours of clinical experience, expertise, and patient satisfaction.”

Chewning continued on, heaping praises and beaming with pride in talking about his employees. “Our team members work hard to provide high quality care for our patients, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements,” he concluded.

Since being purchased by the Halle Building Group just under two years ago, the stunning renovations and quality additions that are synonymous with the Maryland based developers have grabbed the attention of golfers across the state, as the Belmont Lake Golf Club in Rocky Mount has seen a 500 percent increase in membership at the beautiful NC Golf Course in the past 18 months.

A recent article in Triangle Golf Today (TGT) focused on the beautification of the NC Golf Course and the meteoric rise it has seen in both membership sales and rounds of golf played at the Belmont Lake Club. The Triangle Golf piece detailed that In addition to the aforementioned 500 percent increase in memberships, the rounds of golf played at Belmont Lake have increased in the past year from 5,000 to a projected 22,000 for 2014. Speaking with TGT on the growth he has seen since leaving his previous gigs at Charlotte Country Club and The Palisades Country Club, Belmont Lake head pro, Tim Wilke explained, “When I came here I knew there was ample opportunity for progress to be made. It just took some energy and commitment and enthusiasm.”
