The Main Course at Belmont Offering a New Look at Fine Dining in Rocky Mount
The Main Course at Belmont Lake Preserve has been offering up delicious tastes inside the BLP Golf Clubhouse for years, however, a fresh new menu offering some exciting new choices may have you hustling off the 18th green and to a table, whether you prefer breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Always a hit at the Main Course at Belmont, popular, delicious and affordable breakfast options in crude “the Hobo,” with a choice of sausage or bacon chopped up with eggs and cheese and served on your choice of toast. The Main Course omelet is another favorite in the morning, boasting 3 eggs with one meat and a choice of vegetable.
Lunch favorites at the Main Course at Belmont are the “Rich Boy,” a beer battered flounder filet on our Parmesan hoagie roll with lettuce, tomato and tarter sauce and the “Southerner,” a unique take on the classic BLT, featuring candied bacon and a house made pimento cheese.
Dinnertime is a special time as well with the new menu at The Main Course at Belmont, with such crowd pleasers as the “Hen and Waffle,” ( 1/2 pan seared Cornish hen on top of a gaffer with a maple bbq glaze) and “Shrimp-n-Gritz, served in either Charleston or Cajun style.
Described on their new website as “Rocky Mount North Carolina’s Premier Fine Dining Experience.” The Main Course is open to the public and ready to serve you. Founded in in 2014 with one goal in mind, exceptional service, Proprietor Mark Piatkowski and his staff headlined by Chef Robert “Buck” Gibbs have created a menu and atmosphere that is both inviting and fulfilling. They urge you at the new website to “Come join us at The Main Course at Belmont for breakfast, lunch and dinner and while you’re there ask Mark about your group events, private dining experience and catering options.” To see a full menu and for more information on The Main Course, go to themaincourseatbelmont.com.
